As a frequent shopper of Costco, for all of those whose pots and pans are defective, return the entire set and Costco will replace it or refund your purchase. Costco has a record of the purchase made through your membership card so there is no need to scramble to find the receipt. With the exception of some electronics, Costco guarantees all merchandise whether you bought it a few days ago or one year ago particularly if it's defective.
