Best pans ever

The Bottom Line: This is worth the money.It appeals to both the experienced and inexperienced.They are a great investment.

After doing alot of research,I settled with these pans.I can toss them in the dishwasher, bake in them, and best of all cook in them with little effert!!!
I have used for 20 years the Revereware pans. After 2 MAJOR repairs on my smooth top stove I was told by Tech
that I could no longer use those pans.HMMM, Must go shopping . I knew that I didnt want Calphalon because of the heavyness AND dishwasher issue. I could not justify the cost of AllClad. So now I must find something compatible in the middle. After looking at the reviews here and other websites I decided on checking out the Costco version.It was love at first site. The sides are curved and I thought the look was classier. My one regret is that ever the bargin shopper, I decided to wait and see what went on sale for Christmas...Bad move.When I went back less than 1 week later, the whole supply of 6 was sold out.When I finally found someone who could help me and look up the order, I was told "No more" YIKES. I called the nearby city of Charlotte, NC and was told they didnt have any in their 2 stores and were on backorder.DOUBLE YIKES. Now im calling the store in Raliegh, Durham area 80 miles away.They claimed to have 6. I was the first customer in line tuesday (Christmas Eve)and I had to buy the Display models!!! It was worth the trip and traffic. I decided I was a tad bit Obsessive on the long trek home, but I was grininng from ear to ear. I purchased the 13 piece set. It consists of a 2,3,4 &8 quart covered Saucepan(the 4 quart has a steamer)also a 5.5 quart covered saute pan and both the 8&10 inch skillet.They looked nice on the stove. They dont 'rock' like the revere pans did and so far the clean-up as been wonderful.I bought some Barkeepers friend and that has been very useful.It would be nice to have an "Open stock". But I can fill in with other brands should I find something I really need. Best present I bought myself!!!!
