Pros: Good looks, water and ice in the door.
Cons: Interior refrigerator space.
The Bottom Line: I feel that this refrigerator is a good choice for a small family, but if you have 5 or more people in your household, choose a larger or deeper model.

When we remodeled our kitchen about 2 1/2 years ago, we got all new appliances. All of the appliances we selected were stainless steel. The refrigerator also needed to be a "counter-depth" model, because of the limited amount of space in my kitchen. It also could only be 36" wide, so a built in model was out of the question (the one I would have chosen is 48" wide). After looking at several other models we chose the Kitchen Aid. Basically the refrigerator is a good model, the design is nice to look at, it has the water filtration system built in and (very important to us) has the ice and water on the door. The problem is that the capacity of the refrigerator portion is not adequate for my family (2 adults and 3 children). In order to gain more space inside, I removed one of the drawers so I could get an additional shelf for food. I wish I still had my old refrigerator, it was deeper, therefore held much more food. I guess if I had a bigger kitchen to start with, I would have gotten a standard depth refrigerator. But since I do not, I have to make the best use of this one possible.
