Pros: Fits lots of food, cleans easily and the cool handles are cool even when cooking.

Cons: Not the best for searing or frying anything that requires high temps.

I like the basic design of the Kitchenaid hardbase pieces. We first got the big stir fry skillet with the helper handle as a way of "testing" the brand and it has been a good success. It cooks evenly and really shines when cooking slowly. I would be happier if it came with a lid as no other lid we have fits this big a pan.

So far (8 months) it has cleaned easily and has not chipped or lost any nonstick surface.
