Pros: Dries dishes completely, built in food grinder, pro scrub feature, top 3rd rack
Cons: haven't found any yet.
I spent a lot of time researching which dishwasher to buy when my 5 year old GE profile broke down (all my GE appliances have broken down, BTW, stay clear of these!!)
I narrowed it down to this dishwasher and a Miele. I also really wanted a top 3rd rack, which they both had. I ended up getting the Kitchen aid because it was cheaper, had more room inside than the European Miele, and I liked the look of it.
I love this dishwasher. It is very quiet. I was not looking for a quiet dishwasher, but it is and it is a nice bonus. It has a "proscrub" feature for extra dirty pots and casserole pans and it works great--shooting off the caked on food. I have not had a single piece of food left on my dishes yet (I've had this DW for 2 weeks now). It also has a built in food grinder so you don't even need to rinse the dishes!
I thought I would take out the lower rack silverware caddy and use the space for more plates, etc, and put my silverware on the top rack. It turns out this dishwasher has so much more space than I am used to without the center spinning arm thing, that I have plenty of room with the silverware caddy in place. I use the top rack for spatulas, long knives, tupperware lids, and small bowls.
I am very, very pleased with this dishwasher.
