I have had my Kitchen-Aid Stainless Steel cookware for almost a year, and it still looks like the day I bought it. Its brilliant shine continues to reflect its mirrored lids.

I am somewhat of a "gourmet" chef at home (when I have time to cook) and absolutely love the quality of this cookware set. I would never want any other set of cookware, nor will I ever need any with the high quality of this product!

I guess, the only suggestion I would make is, buy some stainless steel cleaner when you purchase this product. I didnt do that, and found that regular dishwashing doesn't remove "heat stains" and the cookware can sometimes get a "whiteish film". So, I bought some $4.99 Lagistina stainless steel powder and it works great! Now, my cookware always looks like new.

UPDATE:

I still have this cookware, and continue to use it. It still looks like new. Handles are very sturdy and very well attached. They continue to heat evenly. The great thing is because they are all stainless steel contruction, you can go from stop top cooking directly into the oven for braising, baking, etc. For stove top cooking, the handles remain cool to the touch.

I guess the only complaint I have in the 6 years I've owned this product, is the size of the smaller sauce pan. I find I don't use it very often, other than for cooking veggies or making smaller batches of sauces. It would have been nice if KA had added a 3rd sized sauce pan, perhaps a little larger than the largest one provided in the box.
