I agree with the other review. It works great. Clean up is a little tough after grinding hamburger -- my usual use. The stringy white fibers cling to the blade, but I don't think this would be different from any other grinder. If you want to use the vegetable strainer for juice, the pasta plates, or sausage tubes, you have to own this attachment. So, make it the first attachment you buy.

... I have a hand grinder. I just got "Mrs. Schlamozzel" the Kitchen Aid mixer for Christmas because she had wanted one for so many years. I'm looking forward to getting the attachments.
