Pros: Great sounding speaker that will make a movie come alive!
Cons: Very Heavy! Does not play well with others!
The Bottom Line: once you go Klipsch, everything else pales in comparison.

| brdss2's Full Review: Klipsch RC-3 Center Speaker |
I will not go into the technical aspects, as they have been covered already.
I purchased this speaker as my first center speaker. As fronts and rears I was using Bose. BIG mistake! The Klipsch is so efficeint that it is impossible to adjust them down enough to have it blend with the Bose! It will let you know that what you thought were decent speakers are only giving you part of the music. After replacing the fronts with Klipsch RP-5's (see my review on them), I was in heaven!! This center speaker blended in great with them, and made the movies come alive! You will hear things in movies that you did not know were there! I actually heard the change jingling in the pocket of one actors pants as he walked in a movie!
If you are planning on going with an all Klipsch speaker system, this is a good speaker to start with. Trying to mix it with other speakers do not blend that well.
One warning. Do not place this speaker on top of your projection TV! It is very heavy and will cause it to start bending down in the middle. Put it on it's own shelf or put it on a long board to support the weight at the ends of the TV.
