| dhahn1's Full Review: Kodak EasyShare DX3500 Digital Camera |
I list alot of items on ebay and when my expensive digital camera quit working and was out of warranty i went in search of a more cost effective digital camera. I researched dozens of digital cameras on the internet. When i came across the Kodak DX3500 i noticed the price ($135.00) versus the megapixels. It is usually pretty tuff to get a good quality 2.2 megapixel digital camera for this price. I was hesitant at first to purchase the Kodak DX3500. I took the gamble and did it. When i received my Kodak DX3500 i shot some practice pictures to see what it was capable of and to get used to it. I then listed some items on ebay with pictures taken from the camera. I was shocked at the clarity and detail of the pictures. The fact that you can use the view finder or the screen is great. to play back your pictures is a no brainer. Any feature you use is very easy to get to. You don't have to stop and look at the camera to make sure you are picking the correct feature. Another great feature as far as i'am concerned is the ability to use a compact flash card. They have been around for a long time and i had three of them lying around that i used in my Laptop. They all worked in the Kodak DX3500. unlike the smart media or memory stick, the compact flash cards have become very reasonable in price. The few cons with this camera is that when you use the flash sometimes it causes glare. When it is set on auto flash it does alot better. The optical zoom could be better. It sometimes is easier to just move closer to your object than zoom in. overall for the money and the features you get, the Kodak DX3500 is well worth the money.
