Pros: low cost ink cartridges, quick printing speed, ease of use, great functionality
Cons: size, ink seems to go quick, required accessories not included, costly initial investment
The Bottom Line: I love the low cost ink cartridges, but the printer is expensive and accessories are not included. i love it for my personal use. I recommend it to friends.

i was in the market for a new printer when i heard about kodak making these new AIO's with cheaper ink cartridges. i purposely waited to buy a new printer until they came out and spent more than i wanted to because of this.
While i am pleased with my printer, i do much less printing than some people. mostly i am printing photos, and quick lists in b&w. the photos come out perfectly. the detail is fantastic, but it seems like it goes through ink a little quicker than it should. i dont know what quality of print they used in their claims that it printing pics will cost you 10 cents per photo, but you need to use the "Best" quality in order to get a nice photo. if you use Normal, or draft your photo will be horrible. so it seems that maybe the ink goes a little faster than they claim.
normal documents printed in draft quality come out nicely. so far all scans i have made turn out well. i like that you can save a scanned document in several different formats (including .pdf).
Some may find the size of this printer a little cumbersome. it literally takes up an entire side of my desk. if you have only a small working area it may be difficult for you to manage.
One thing that really befuddled me about this printer was that it came with zero accessories. how can you sell someone a printer and not even provide them with a cable so that you can hook it up to your pc?? i think they did this because you have the option to purchase a bluetooth adapter so that you can connect wirelessly to the printer, but still. that was kind of a rip off to me. The store where i bought my printer didn't even HAVE the cables available! fortunately i was able to snag an extra cable from my boyfriend, so i didn't have to pay the ridiculous price of $25 for a stinking cable.
Overall i do think this is a good printer for my personal needs. I'm torn between rating it as Average, or Above average, because i'm extremely pleased with the performance, but i'm put off by whole printing cable thing. The initial investment in this printer is kind of high in my opinion, but i'm hoping to save that money on ink in the long run. i had my last printer for 7 years, and if this one holds up i plan to keep it for a long long time.
