Pros: NONE so far

Cons: Won't install...so it's all bad as of right now!!!

The Bottom Line: I don't recommend this printer. I've never had problems even with the cheapest printers I could find...BUT this one...makes me want to throw it across the room! ;)

I've been trying to install this printer for 3.5 hours now. First try at calibrating, it did not print...blank sheet came back to me. Now the flashing "check ink" lights are on every single time I turn this thing on. Inks have been installed and reinstalled many many times now. No printer should have errors right out of the box, can't even get far enough into installation to connect the usb to my computer! There is also a bad smell inside, like burning...could be plastic I guess. Very bad experience so far!!! Kodak's troubleshooting is useless...it asked if I got an error when installing...I said yes...their "answer/solution" read "you have an error with your printer". Ummmmm, think I already knew that!!!

As I'm looking inside this machine, I see some components held together with the same tape they had the lid taped for shipping...that can't be the best they can do?

Sure it saves on ink...it WON'T PRINT!!!

I've seen several other reports of the same problems...guess I'll return it and buy another brand! I am not going through this every single time I want to install new ink...and not going to risk it catching on fire if that is indeed a burning smell!
