Great Printer at a Good price

Pros: Easy to use.Easy to install.Great prints .Cheap quality ink.

Cons: I'd like to see support for wireless networking and Ubuntu.

mb33's Full Review: Kodak EASYSHARE 5100 All-In-One Printer
Like many people I look for reviews online.
Then wade through positive and negative reviews hoping that the product I chose was a good choice.
I'm glad i bought this printer.

What drew me to the 5100 was the ink.
My old printer works fine.
But it was going to cost 70 dollars for ink.
So for an extra 30 dollars it was worth the risk.
I installed it on three xp machines with no problems.
After three months I have no major complaints.
I took a picture scanned it in at 600 and took it around to friends and family to print it out and compare them.
I absolutely love the quality of the 5100s prints.

The size is big with a 20 x 14 x 9 inch foot print.
But its sturdy and it looks good.
The 4x6 sheet feeder built into the paper is nice.
No more switching back and forth between paper.
I also like the the scan to pdf feature.
I've read reviews that said it was very loud.
I personally don't think its any louder than than my old one.It takes about 42 seconds to start up.
And to me... prints pretty fast.

Now what I don't like.
Easy Share software.
No Ubuntu support.
It did not work with my Netgear ps121 usb print server.

All in all I would recommend this printer to any one.
And when my mother needs new ink,I'll buy her one as well.
