naes000's Full Review: Kodak EASYSHARE 5100 All-In-One Printer
I Purchased the Kodak Easy Share All in one 5100, to replace our old printer on witch the paper feed motor went out. At first I was impressed with the Kodak 5100, did the stand alone setup, as per the manual instructions, calibrated nicely and did it all by itself, with me just moving the calibration sheet around in the device,
I got all the software installed on the computer and connect the two, the scanner worked great and same with the Copy feature, but when I tested out the print feature the whole thing went crazy. It would first spit out two blank pages then it would feed a third page halvway out then suck it in full speed and jam, it did this 6 times before i went thue the manual did all the trouble shooting i could, then I contacted the help center, they think the printer head is bad, so they sent me a free one, didn't solve the problem at all.
Thats just the problem with the Priting, now any time I try to scan, it starts sacanning and then partally thrue the scan it stops, and says there is an error and cannot continue, every time even after reseting the printer and the computer, and with it not recognizing the paper or scanning i can't copy, so it is completly useless.
I am going to return the product tomorrow, So in my opinion if you want an expencive white brick on your desk with this that is what you'll get. I don't recoment the Kodak Easy Share All in One 5100 for anyone.
