The Kodak is buying their Frames as OEM from other manufactures, with same processing chipset and same program (different graphic) and you end up paying at least 35% higher than exactly same product but with other brand names that you may not aware off.
The unit came with the features most of us needed, like all in one card readers, multimedia functions. But here are their big limitations:
1. 16:9 screen, wide screen is good for TVs, but for photo frame, it is bad: there's only two ways on this frame to solve the black bar problem, a. stretch out which makes you look fat; b. zoom, it may cut your head off. For that money spend, it is wise to look for a 4:3 standard screen.
2. 128mb memory, with today's digital cameras that takes 7mb and up mega pixel pictures, 128MB does not hold nothing, it is better off get other brands with much less and 512MB memories.
Also, remember, the digital photo frame is still the frame, for whom you think Kodak name makes it better, the Kodak name only appears when you turn on the screen, otherwise, it is only a digital photo frame with slid show happens.
