I am not exaggerating when I claim that I haven't taken a bad picture yet with my Kodak EasyShare M550 Digital Camera. Even the action shots are in focus. Of course whenever I think of cameras I always think of Kodak. To me they are the oldest and most popular camera manufacturer.

So when I was ready to load my first set of pictures, I first had to install the software that came with my Koday EasyShare M550 Digital Camera. It took only a few minutes and when I finally got a chance to check it out I was intrigued by all the edit and the print options.
The software allows you to take your pictures and turn them into coloring books or cartoons. Christmas was drawing near and I was at a loss as to what to get for the kids on my list. No matter what you get for someone else's kids, you know it's probably only going to get minimal playtime because their parents and grandparents would be giving them the good stuff. That's when this fantastic idea came to me.
Since getting my Kodak EasyShare Digital Camera, I had taken tons of pictures of every recent event in my life. I had more than enough material to start my project.
Since I still enjoy coloring in coloring books, I figured that most kids at any age would still feel this way once in a while. If that were true, then I figured any kid at any age would get a kick out of coloring a coloring book made up of pictures of themselves!
I made up coloring books for everyone, even the adults on my list. It was a hit every time someone opened their present. Of course I threw in some crayons and markers, just so the coloring could begin before the good stuff got unwrapped.
I got an even better idea when I was trying to figure out what to get my god daughter. She needed something a bit more special than the others. After printing off some of her pictures as coloring book pages, the idea to have one of them put on a t shirt seemed to be that special extra I wanted to give her. So another $10 for a t shirt and transfer paper, and I had a really cool looking t shirt with her face on it. I put it on a white t shirt, so she could color it with permanent markers if she wanted.
This was absolutely the perfect gift to give to everyone on my list.
No matter how old anyone was, everyone loved seeing themselves in a coloring book. It was almost like feeling everyone has had their picture published.
I was always amazed at how each coloring book page really did look like the individual in the picture and by printing them as coloring book pages, I only had to use my black ink. So it was not only a really cool idea, it cost me next to nothing to do.
Everyone on my list was taken care of with minimal time and money spent. I'm now considering some of the other projects Kodak has included in this software. Maybe next year everyone will get some fridge magnets or sticker books. Then again, by next year, Kodak will most likely come up with even more ways to creatively capture your "Kodak Moments".
