Pros: You can add different lenses and a dock station
Cons: Small LCD screen, no image stabilization, ISO is best at 400 or less.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this camera, because its affordable and you can add a lot of extras to the camera.

| jenw06's Full Review: Kodak EasyShare Z710 Digital Camera |
I received this camera as an early Christmas gift. After reading reviews on other cameras and writing a list of what I wanted to use my camera for. I decided to go with Kodak Easy Share Z710.
There were several factors for choosing this camera. I choose this camera number one because of the price, its a very affordable camera considering the fact that you are getting 7.1 Mega pixels and 10x zoom.
The camera offers many features as well such as being able to just press a button which is called share to upload your pictures to your computer. The features include Flash mode which has auto flash, fill, red eye and no flash. There is a self timer, you can take videos, you can also add a SD media card. Capture modes include auto, sport, portrait, night time, scene, PASM where you can manually put in your own camera settings, you can also use landscape. The camera also has a feature where you can tell the camera that you are at a party and it it will adjust itself for party taking pictures. You can review your photos on the camera and decide if you want to keep it delete it. You can also crop your pictures right on the camera. There are a number of setting you can use to take a great picture. You can add a ton of extras to the camera. Such as a dock station, printer dock, different types of lenses.
Now with all this in mind there are some things I don't like about the camera. There is no image stabilization, the LCD screen could of been better, I wish it was bigger. Once you get to a certain ISO the pictures look a little distorted. I would of also liked if they had included a rechargeable battery.
I still think its a good camera for those who are starting out in photography and want to learn the ropes on taking good pictures. I have played with every mode of the camera and I love this camera. I am glad my husband gave it to me. Once you learn how to use all the features well, you will be well on your way to taking wonderful and beautiful pictures. I wish I could upload a sunset picture I took while my husband was driving 70 miles per hour on the highway, everyone who saw the picture swore I was standing still while I took the photo. It was so beautiful!
