| thetaye's Full Review: Kodak EasyShare Z710 Digital Camera |
This is hands down the best camera I have ever owned. I needed a descent quality camera for both my business and my home, this camera has far exceeded all of my needs. In the past I had purchased some fairly descent "other-guy" cameras and strayed from the Kodak brand for fear of disappointment. Kodak definitely did not disappoint me in this model. I'm having a lot of fun snapping pictures of my kids, my wife, and the wildlife pictures are just breathtaking. This camera takes professional quality photos even though I am anything but a professional. My brother-in-law is a professional and recently started a photography business and used my camera as a backup because his cameras were stolen the day before a wedding. He was quite impressed with it's zoom and overall performance and functionality; no one could tell the difference in picture quality between his usual camera and mine.
Maybe I'm late but Kodak has some really cool accessories you definitely want to get with this. They have a dock
that you can get that is really cool because not only does it hold your camera but also recharges the batteries. You may want to buy a more sturdy tripod but the dock is well worth the $25 you might spend.
There was only one flaw in the camera I have found. I am not sure that the Kodak software that comes with this is ready for Windows Vista. I have had a few minor problems with movie clips stalling on my new computer when we try to edit clips. My XP laptop seems to work fine but again the clips won't play in my Windows Player.
All in all, this is a strong buy. Who else would you trust your Kodak moments to... the other guys? (I should market that. LOL!)
