I haven't actually got around to buying SW yet, although I do plan on it, mainly because I think Japanese Samurai are cooler than old Chinese warriors. DW3 is probably the series entry I've devoted most time to, and the 2-Player co-op mode has made it a favourite with my sister as well which is always a bonus.

Cheers for the comments/ratings guys!

I think the DW series (well 3 & 4 at least) is probably my most played games.. I know what you mean about 1, it is a bit pants.

Samurai Warriors I've had a hard time getting into, maybe because I think the DW have way cooler names, and plus, some of them are a bit cocky, like Gan Ning.

Anyway, nice write up.

Cheers!

This was one of my favorite PS2 games. DW3 was pretty good, too, but DW4 got a little too hard.
