Pros:Everything...features, construction, price.
The Bottom Line: A must-have for any parent. All the features you need, no reason to spend more on the more popular brand.
When asked by other parents or soon-to-be parents what I can't live without, this is in the top three. Very well built and easy to use. I didn't even have to read the directions. (Of course I don't recommend that approach but it is nice when products are so easy to use). Baby can face in or out; mine has loved it from the time she was a week old and is still loving it at nearly five months. I see no advantage to spending more for the bjorn as this one has all the features you will need.

There are adjustments at the leg openings to make them smaller when your baby is little. There is also a zipper feature at the crotch of the carrier to allow adjustment for baby's height. This carrier truly does accomodate a 7lb newborn on up. The side closures are self-locking so there is no chance it will come undone, and they are very easily manipulated with one hand so you can take baby in/out without a struggle. It machine washes nicely in case your baby has reflux like mine.
The adjustments for the parent are also easy to figure out, and it works well for average-sized me and my very broad-chested husband. If not for this carrier, my house would not have been vacuumed for the first few months (colic!). Makes grocery shopping by myself possible too. Also wonderful for shopping in places too tight for a stroller. I also have the even-flo snuggli but there is no comparison. Jeep is more comfortable (for me and for baby) and better made. Definitely register for one or buy one for any expectant parent you know. I'll be using this until she's too fat to fit in it anymore.
This was a lifesaver for us with a fussy baby. The only negative I can see is that some may be tempted to use it all the time which could delay motor development.
