I insisted on getting this mattress. When we bought our daughter a new crib. The crib is a 3 in 1 so it grows with her. I figured if we are going to spend that kind of money on a bed we should the mattress as well.
When we got the mattress home I had to check it out.I wanted proof that the money we spent was worth it. It supported my weight with no problem. There was no sagging or indentations from me sitting and laying on it. This is coming from a 195 pound male. So to me this was wonderful. Another thing that I love is that if my daughters cup leaks the waterproof cover stops it from getting into the mattress itself. I have not had any tears or cracking in this protective layer. Which says something when told that my daughter is rough on her bed. She is always jumping and bouncing on it.
It was a pain when trying to change her crib. It was heavy and fit so well in the bed I had to struggle with it. Now that we have taken the front bar off and made it a day bed it is much easier. So was it worth the $90 (sale) price tag attatched? Yes, I am glad that we bought this one and not a cheaper one.
