I've had cats ever since I was 11 years old and my parents always taught me how important it is to take good care of your pets. You take them to the vet when they are sick, give them food to grow and stay strong, shelter to keep them warm when it's cold and cooled off when it's hot and give them plenty of love and attention. So, brushing their fur only makes sense and is very important for a happy, healthy cat.
By brushing your cats fur daily it helps make their fur healthy, soft, manageable, and gives it a nice sheen. It also promotes healthy skin by moving the natural oils in their skin and fur around. Another great advantage of using a brush on your cat daily is it takes all the loose, dull looking fur and makes their coats look healthy as well. But, the best reason to brush your cat’s fur is the quality time you two will have together.
I've used the Kong Zoom Groom Rubber Brush on my four frisky felines daily for over a year. This is one brush when my cats see me with brush in hand they run to me, not run the other way, knocking down everything in site just to get under the bed and hid.
