when i first got these i couldn't make these fit in my ears, they keep falling up. it took me a few tries to learn how to squish these things in better so they don't fall out. after i got used to them i'm like them more and more. they are great for commuting on the trains/subway/buses. they do a pretty good job blocking the unwanted noises out. They also work well with portable devices that aren't loud enough. i have a nomad IIc mp3 players and the volume is really weak when i use them with regular headphones/earphones cuz the sound just leaks out. but when i put on these plugs the volume becomes way louder. these definitely aren't for exercises though. if the cords are yanked a little bit while you're running or doing situps or whatnot, they fall right now. good for walking and commuting.
another thing that's annoying about these is that the spongy things are attached to the unit itself through a little tube thingy that's not glued to the unit. so through shuffling in your backpack/pocket, the plugs could also fall off. it comes with replacement plugs, which is fine. but if you loose that little tube thing there's no way of putting the plug back on. after i lose a couple plugs i learned my lesson and bought some super glue. it's perfect now.
