Pros: Just amazing sound from such a tiny package, and blocks out all outside noise.
Cons: Packages easily opened by previous shoppers who may have inserted the plugs into their ears...yuck!
The Bottom Line: Anyone that buys these for normal use would be pleased because of the sound quality and noise blocking, unless they have weird ear canals that can't hold foam earplugs.

I just picked up a pair of these today at Best Buy for $22 out the door with tax, and I am tremendously impressed by the sound.
I drive 2 old military vehicles (a military Suburban-based CUCV command vehicle and an M35A2 "deuce and a half" military troop transporter, and these block out the drone of the motors and tires and I can easily hear music and talk radio. Note that I have to wear hearing protection in these vehicles, and usually I use a $400 pair of noise-cancelling David Clark aviation headsets...now I'll wear these little units.
I have noticed that you have to really push and twist the plugs into your ear canal, otherwise they sound tinny and there's no bass. But WOW, when you get them set in and turn on the tunes, you almost feel the bass on your chest. I ran a few of the bass tests (search on Kazaa for "subwoofer test" and you find a bunch of these MP3 tracks) and the Koss Plug passes with flying colors. I think the midranges and highs are great too, despite what some other reviewers have said.
I did have to turn the volume on my player WAY down, because it was just too loud at the usual settings. This is good, because the higher the volume, the more distortion there is.
If you buy these at a walk-in store that allows you to grab the packages off the hook yourself, be SURE to get a package that has not been opened by other customers. I noticed that most of the packages had been opened, and some of them had debris (maybe from losers' ears...yeech!) on the foam plugs. Each package has a clear tape over the opening side, and the tape tends to rip when the loser opens the package, so just find one that is intact and you're good to go.
