Sidewalk chalk is a necessity to have for this time of year. The question is, how much should you buy? Well, this bucket of Kraft sidewalk chalk has 20 pieces, and it was only two bucks! I saw that there had also been larger buckets for surprisingly cheap prices as well, but I thought that I should start out small. Looks like it's time to go back for more!
When I first spotted this bucket of sidewalk chalk, I was actually a little skeptical about buying it. Yeah, it was only two bucks, but I had never heard of the Kraft brand, and my nephew Harold had mentioned buying Rose Art sidewalk chalk instead. However, the Rose Art bucket of sidewalk chalk with the exact same number of chalk pieces had an unacceptable price! I knew that their couldn't have been too big of a difference between the two brands of sidewalk chalk, so I went with the Kraft bucket. Boy, am I glad I bought this chalk!
As I carefully removed the lid, I was practically blinded by all of the bright colors inside the bucket! This bucket of chalk had the primary colors, the secondary colors, and then some! Opening this bucket of sidewalk chalk was a lot different than opening a box of crayons! Each of the chalk pieces were spaced apart so that we could take them out without mixing the colors.
One of the first things I noticed about this chalk was that it was very thick. No matter how much my nephew Harold and I scribbled on the sidewalk, it seemed that the chalk wasn't running down! It's best to squat down when applying the chalk to the concrete, because otherwise, you may end up straining your back! It took us about 3 months to scrape the chalk pieces down to a chip the size of a tooth, and we got a lot of use out of them.
Like most sidewalk chalk, it makes your hands a little messy, but that wasn't a problem for us since we had our water hose handy! Unfortunately, this chalk can easily be broken Other kinds of sidewalk chalk had given us trouble when we tried washing it off. When the time came to wash this Kraft chalk off the patio, we could do so with ease. Just one spray of water, and it's gone!
The cool thing about this bucket of chalk is that it comes with 20 chalk pieces, each of a different color. This chalk not only helps children get creative and improve their art skills, but you can also play fun games with them, such as tic-tac-toe!
After buying this bucket of Kraft sidewalk chalk, I run into it almost everywhere I shop. The price varies from place to place, but it runs fairly cheap. If 20 colorful sidewalk chalk sticks won't keep you busy, what will? They last long, they're fun to use, and they only cost a couple dollars! So go ahead, pick up a bucket of 20 fun Kraft sidewalk chalk sticks!
