I am always looking for quick cheap meals to have around the house for nights that I work late or I just don’t feel like cooking. Something new we recently tried was Velveeta Cheesy Skillet Ultimate Cheeseburger. My grocery stores had them on sale and I had a coupon so I figured I would give them a try.

Velveeta Cheesy Skillet Ultimate Cheeseburger Mac is like Cheeseburger Macaroni Hamburger Helper which is a favorite quick meal of my family. I thought the Velveeta Cheesy Skillet Ultimate Cheeseburger looked similar so I figured they would like it too.
The Velveeta Cheeseburger Mac comes in a 12.8 ounce box. Inside the box are elbow macaroni, cheese sauce, and seasoning. You just need to add the hamburger.
One night a few weeks ago we were running errands and I really didn’t feel like cooking a big meal when I got home so I got out the Velveeta Cheeseburger Mac.
The Velveeta Cheeseburger Mac is easy to make. You will need to cook off a pound of hamburger. Once the hamburger is cooked you add two cups of water, the seasoning packet and the pasta to the pan. There is more sodium in Velveeta Cheeseburger Mac then in other versions of Cheesy Skillets but I do not think it tastes salty. The sodium content may be a concern for some.
Since my family has always enjoyed Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni I was curious as to what they thought of the Velveeta Cheeseburger Mac. They all agreed that they liked it better than Hamburger Helper. They thought it was cheesier. Now my husband did add some pepper to his serving but he adds pepper to everything. I like Velveeta Cheeseburger Mac better then Hamburger Helper also because I like the creamy cheese instead of the powdered stuff. There are times I have problems getting the powdered cheese to not be lumpy.
I like that Velveeta Cheeseburger Mac is quick to make and is a decent tasting meal. I was able to get dinner on the table in about twenty minutes. I also like that everything cooks up in one pot. This means fewer dishes to wash at the end of the night.
Velveeta Cheeseburger Mac is made by Kraft, a name I know and trust when it comes to food products. Velveeta Cheeseburger Mac can be found in most grocery stores in the aisle with things like Hamburger Helper. I paid 0.55 cents a box with the sale and coupons but they regularly run $2.99. I do have a few more boxes in my cupboards for a night that I need another quick meal. My boys could probably eat this once a week but I try not to make it more than once every three weeks or so.
My family enjoyed Kraft Velveeta Cheeseburger Mac Skillet Dinners and we would recommend it to others.
