best rice cooker I've ever used

Pros: much cleaner, less spatter than other rice cookers i have used. cooks thoroughly.

Cons: big and bulky, doesn't turn off automatically.

The Bottom Line: I would choose this rice cooker if you're looking for one that is easy to clean with a fairly large capacity. So far it's been the best i've ever used.

I cook short grain brown rice at least 3 times a week, *every* week. i've gone through many rice cookers. i got this one as a wedding present a few months ago, and it cooks so much better than the others i've had. my white westinghouse (sp?) rice cooker spattered sticky stuff everywhere. this one doesn't even if i cook 2 cups of rice at once or more. it also keeps the rice warm if i am busy doing something else, which is a great bonus. the one i have has a non-stick surface inside of it (i know some do not come with this option) and it's great because i don't have to spend 5 minutes scraping the rice off the bottom or soaking it for 30 minutes just to get it clean. this makes it all the more convenient for me to have healthy food :)

the only problems (and they're really minor ones) is that it doesn't turn off automatically like others do, and it's pretty big and bulky and i have trouble finding space for it in my teeny tiny kitchen. overall though, through years of using rice cookers, this one is certainly the best i've ever had.
