Pros: Recption sounds good, easy to use, have most accessories as my home phone.
Cons: I can't get my husband to leave it alone. He hogs it all to himself!
The Bottom Line: My final recommendation is that this cell phone is worth checking out and actually getting. It works wonderfully.

| Witch_Writer's Full Review: Kyocera QCP 2760 Cell Phone |
Earlier this month, my phone company, Qwest (formerly USWest) calls to offer me a deal on a cell phone offer. The deal was for 1200 minutes a month for $29.95 a month. It breaks down to 200 minutes on weekdays and 1000 for weekends. If I remember correctly, it is 40 cents per additional minute, 60 cents (?) per minute for roaming. We have a year’s contract so if we cancel before the year is up, then we pay $100 cancellation fee. So I figured if I could trust any company, it should be my phone company. So I signed up for the cell phone plan.
There was a couple of deciding factors in getting a cell phone. The first reason being that my husband works the graveyard shift as a janitor. He walks to work so having this cell phone gives me peace of mind knowing that he has access to phone service when he wouldn’t have access to it other wise. Secondly, I also do a lot of walking so I also have a phone in case of an emergency. Thirdly, I hate being tied to the house waiting on phone calls. While I wouldn’t call a cell phone a necessity, it sure is nice having it.
It arrived 2 days later, on Saturday, by the postal service delivering it to my door. I signed for it and brought it upstairs. My husband took it out of the box. We read the literature that came with it and tried out the phone to see how it and its features worked.
At first, it took a little getting used to, especially for me. My husband, of course, took right to it. It was actually pretty easy to use, once I got past being intimidated by this tiny phone. Then it became the easiest thing to use, since my computer.
I am finding that I can do just about anything with my cell phone that I can with my home phone. If I’m talking to someone, anyone trying to call me while I’m talking will get my voice messaging on my home phone. I can enable the cell phone so my home phone will route calls to the cell phone, which is great. I don’t have to sit at home by the phone if I’m waiting for a call. I have three-way-calling, call forwarding, caller ID, voice mail, and Internet capabilities on this cell phone. And everything comes in so nice and clear. I have never had a cell phone before now, so I am really surprised by all that I can do with this phone and how well it has worked to this point.
I really didn’t think that I could be at all happy with a cellular phone. This experience has proven me completely wrong. So far it has been easy to use and very affordable.
So for any of you considering a cell phone, especially those of you who are first time users, I would recommend that you check out the Calcium QCP-2760 cell phone. I think it will be worth your time and investment.
