The new L.G. (meaning: Life's Good) French door refrigerator model number LRFD22850, gives you a full 22.4 cu ft capacity that 'works as if it gives you a great deal more space than that. The way it is laid out, French Doors that open to where you want to be able to reach your food without scrounging for it, look fantastic, and highly stylish as one can get! L.G. appliances are the high, high end of appliances. I am thrilled to get mine! I know my P.G.& E. will go down, I know that as new as my last refrigerator was, it couldn't compare with the low energy usage of this L.G. French door, bottom freezer!

I like the titanium type front that I chose. Titanium just doesn't seem to show finger print marks as much as stainless steel does. The titanium is gorgeous, and it just makes my kitchen seem to be 'royal' to me! These contoured doors DO come in smooth white, stainless steel, and titanium with commercial metal handles.

My water dispenser is on the outside of the left hand side French door. The water filtration is really premium, really clean water, that tastes great! This has external, digital temperature controls, as well as extremely low decibel (really, really quiet) controls. The custom cube ice maker is totally automatic. There is a really fast freeze, called an express freeze, function, in the lower freezer compartment, as well.

Inside the refrigerator, you will find 2 slide out shelves, that allow me/you not to have to reach over the top of all the foods in order to reach what is in the very back of the shelf! One shelf actually folds back into itself, making it so I can put in tall bottles, etc., where there just is no place for one to sit upright, otherwise. One glass shelf is fixed in place, totally spill proof (won't spill a spill onto another shelf) shelf. All the shelves are tempered glass with the spill proof design.

The organization of this refrigerator is what I looked for in a new one. I found that this one allows me to organize my food in ways that make the food easiest to remove from the refrigerator and from the freezer. The fact that the French doors are more at eye level than any 'top freeezer' type is a real bonus to me!

Even the doors of this model are what I wanted to find! The door baskets are handy and I can actually fit 6 gallon sized containers into the doors! There is a utility bin and an egg tray, as well as a wire rack for cans!

Just imagine being able to open up all three doors at once, when you get yours, and to see ALL that space, and it is usable space! Space that is easily reached!

Even the freezer door has what is called a 'tilt a drawer' and tilts down about 45 degrees to make using the freezer even easier for us! Every shelf has a vent located upon it, to make sure that the multi air cooling system is used to peak performance for the refrigerator. The opti-bin crispers assure everyone that the fruits and veggies stay their most crisp, most fresh, and last a lot longer than regular bins in other type refrigerators do.

There is even a bio shield anti-bacterial seal that is totally unique to this L.G. styling that prevents mold and mildew from accumulating on the door seal! In my area, that is amazing, in itself!

What you need in height to get one of these is: 69" in height, 33 inches in width. There is a year parts and labor on the refrigerator, with a 7 year warranty on the sealed system.

This new L.G. refrigerator with those fancy French doors really make me proud. Be aware that there are many rebates going on for refrigerators by this company, as well as through P.G. & E! Remember, only certain dealers are allowed to carry L.G. brands, so watch your ads, or check the phone book before you start just walking around to compare prices. Mine is a treasure! I feel really happy just knowing I GOT an L.G.! I know I'm saving money on power, and my food will stay fresh longer. That's a lot of savings, to me! Savings are good! When they come in a great looking package, like this, it is really good!
