The Bottom Line: Gets everything very clean, uses so little water I wasn't sure it was working. Very little detergent, easy to use and manipulate settings.

I was in love with my 10 year old Kenmore washer when it died unexpectedly about a week ago. After mourning it for about an hour, I started researching new machines (fixing the Kenmore would be about a $300-$500 expense so I decided the money was better spent on a new machine). After days of pouring over Consumer Reports, Epinions and other reviews, we purchased the LG WM0642H and I've been in love ever since. I started out with the musty towels I found on the floor on the other side of my teenagers bed, normally they would never come clean, even with bleach, but on the sanitary setting (who cares how long it takes) they came out smelling fresh! I read some reviews that the washer was loud, but I couldn't hear it over my dryer and when the dryer wasn't running, I had to open the door to the laundry room to make sure the washer was still going. I love the ability to delay the wash so I can load the machine in the morning and have the clothes wash just before I get home so I can toss them in the dryer without having them sit around all day and starting to smell. I've tried almost every setting on this washer and my husbands work clothes came out cleaner then they ever have. I love the express wash, just over 30 minutes for items that don't need the deep cleaning. I for one hate doing laundry and for the past three days, since I've had it, I've washed just about everything in the house and can't wait to do more. Best money I've ever spent...
