When your mother told you Beauty is only skin deep she wasn't kidding. I originally bought this cell phone because it looked oh so cool and hip. It reminded me of an ipod and I just thought the style was very sleek. Well that's about the only thing the phone is good for, to look cool while you are holding it. The LG Chocolate has been the absolute worse cell phone I've ever had.
For starters it is hard to dial. I must make a mistake dialing about 75 percent of the time I try to call someone and I am not exaggerating. I am not a large person and I don't have large fingers. I'm actually very tiny and still the numbers seem way too small for me.
Secondly, it has the worse free ring tones on the planet. I do not want to pay for my ringtones so I usually just pick one out of the ringtones that come with the phone. Well I will just say that out of about 15 ring tones or so, I could not find even one I liked.
Thirdly, The navigation is a little confusing. There is a wheel similar to the ipod to help you navigate your phone, and it takes me like 3 tries everytime I want to bring up a certain feature. It just doesn't flow right or something.
Fourthly, To get music you have to pay some sort of surcharge that is like 30 bucks. What a rip off.
Fifthly, The phone doesnt' seem to hold a charge too long. I feel like i'm always recharging even when my phone is off
Overall I would not recommend this phone to anyone. It is just too cumbersome to use. The design is cute but the non-functionality negates any brownie points the LG Chocolate would win for style.
