I wanted a phone that fits into my jeans pocket, with the proven clarity and reliability of the digital SprintPCS network. And I wanted a vibrate mode.
I got exactly what I wanted. And it has been durable, riding in my jeans pocket every day for well over a year now.
I don't consider the single-band a "Con", as I planned to use this phone locally. However, the digital network services most of the major roads that we travel between Boston/Washington/Omaha. For roaming emergencies, we could resort to my wife's older dual-band phone.
The only annoyance is that sometimes, for some reason, I don't detect incoming calls until the single vibration notifying me of a "Missed Call" or "Voicemail". I don't know whether this occurs because I'm standing, and the phone is not against my leg to feel the incoming call vibrations, or not.
One other negative is number of steps required to delete single entries in the call history lists.
I don't subscribe to the Wireless Web, therefore I cannot comment on that functionality.
I like this phone so much, that I'm considering the dual-band TP5250 with voice activation.
