The Rumor is packed with features that I will not use.
I chose this phone because of the qwerty keyboard as I like to send text messages. Also, unlike other phones, you are not required to buy an additional data plan which can add significantly to your monthly phone bill.
The screen is nice and clear.
Whenever you access the phone, you always have to hold down the BACK button. Once in, you can make calls or go surfing on the web. Sprint does offer gps navigation for this phone, however, I have not tried it.
The phone is bluetooth compatible. However, it is tricky to use. There is a bluetooth option under the Settings sections. That is not where you pair the phone. You have to go under TOOLS to pair the phone and then back to SETTINGS.
I like the fact that I can insert a 2mb secure digital memory card into the phone. I have been able to capture movies and take photos that otherwise I wouldn't have because I didn't have my digital camera.
I've owned this phone for about 5 months now. It does what it needs to do, but I wish it had a better camera.
The keyboard design is nice. Once you slide the Rumor open, the screen goes from vertical (closed) to horizontal (open) with the keyboard exposed.
For some reason, I find it difficult to insert the power adaptor. It takes a bit of fiddling to get it to fit just right.
Also, the speakerphone is not very loud. Another disappointment.
