I have Alltel so the same phone is called the Scoop and it comes in Slate(dark grey), Citrus (orange) and Turquoise Blue. If you have Sprint you can get it in Black (with blue keyboard), Green and White.
Things I like!
TEXTING: The phone is great for people who like to text message a great deal. It has what is called a Qwerty keyboard which slides out and is easy to use.
RINGTONES: The phone (at least with Alltel) has an interesting choice of ringtones which were all new to me. I personally would like to see more sound-effect type tones but that is just my preference. There are a couple of strange ones such as Shooting Star with people singing.
CAMERA: The camera is pretty standard and works well enough for me as I do not use the camera for any real photographic quality pictures. It is easy to use. It also has no flash.
SPEAKER PHONE: I use this feature frequently when I am driving or when my hands are full. I like the speaker phone and have had no trouble hearing it in the car which is a noisy environment. It is also easy to access with a small button in the upper left of the phone with a picture of a speaker on it.
ALARM CLOCK: The alarm clock has 5 possible settings for 5 separate alarms. You can set an alarm as a one time setting, Monday through Friday, or weekends only. Any ringtone can be used as an alarm tone.
TIP CALCULATOR: The EZ Tip Calculator is a really nice feature! I use it all the time when I am eating out. The default is set at 15 percent but you can change it to any percentage easily and quickly. You just type in the amount of the bill and make sure the tip percentage is where you want it. It will even split the bill for you for multiple people.
Things I don't like!
SIZE: I think it is a little bit bulky. I would like it if it were a little bit smaller and not quite as heavy.
PARENTAL CONTROLS: My daughter also has this phone and loves it. However, I would like to be able to block certain things like access to the Internet. I would also love to be able to limit her texting per day in order to assure that she won't go over the allowed amount in the calling plan.
VOICE COMMAND: I tried to use this but was more frustrating than it was worth. I may try it again at some point but speed dialing is good enough for me.
THINGS I KNOW LITTLE ABOUT!
BLUETOOTH: I do not use this feature. I have never thought that I needed it but it is featured on the phone.
