I bought this phone about 4 months ago, an so far I really like it. It's lightweight, & stylish, although a bit bulky. It looks like a regular phone, but if you turn it sideways it has a hidden full QWERTY keyboard that slides out. You can type with the full keyboard or use the front number keypad with itap or t9.
When you slide the keyboard out it automatically brings you to a menu where you can send a new text, go to your inbox, create a new picture message, go to notepad, go to the media player or go to the calender. The speaker is VERY loud on it. If you are wanting to use it as an alarm clock, you wont be let down.
There are very nice settings on the phone, from 2 different color scheems to choose from & three different font settings. Even tho the internal memory of the phone is quite impressive, it takes a micro SD memory card, up to 4gb, that you can put songs an music on. You can have picture id's an ringtones assigned to your contacts.
The camera phone is 1.3mp, nothing spectacular, but none the less it's a step up from vga an it's a camera phone & does it's job. You can also sync up bluetooth earpeices. As far as connecting via bluetooth to different phones to swap songs, It doesn't work. The only sucess I have had is syncing up with a friend who has the same phone.
It has a nice variety of features. As far as downfalls, If you get a protective case, it makes the phone that much more bulky. The way that the battery charger is, it can be a bit more tricky to plug in than the average phone.
There seems to be 2 common issues with this phone an that is, when you send a text, it will shut itself on an turn back on & that text wont be in your sent box. 2nd issue being that sometimes (& I have no idea what triggers it either) when you hit reply to a text, the keys on the front or the full keyboard will work, so you have to turn it off then back on. The first issue happens daily & the 2nd issue seems to happen weekly or so.
All in all, this is the best phone I have had yet & it makes texting a breeze.
