Pros: Looks nice, quiet, uses little water
Cons: Durability and ease of repair is poor - only a select few service this machine
I have had this machine for about 2.5 years. We use it frequently but only for small loads. Lately, the spin cycle has been stopping with 4 minutes to go and won't go any further to completion. We had a service call the other day and the young man said that this brand is very sensitive and can break down very easy. He then proceeded to tell me that he needed to replace the Main Board, the Controll Board and the Demister (?). He further blamed it on the brand of soap and the amount of soap we were using. He indicated that the Oxy HE was no good for this machine and to stop using it immediately. He then gave me an enormous quote that was reduced twice to $342 + a $60 service call fee to diagnose the machine.
After reading the other reviews, I agree with the reviews that it is a nice looking and economical on the water usage but if the unit has a poor maintenance record, then what's the sense. Still don't know yet if I am getting hosed by the service man but I am not happy with the durability at all.
I bought this machine from Sears and it had good reviews when I bought it but shame on Sears for carrying a product with durability issues.
