Beauty is only skin deep with the LG WM2016C

Pros: looks great, good load capacity, clothes are clean, good price point if on sale,

Cons: unacceptable vibrations, monthly drain issue, must keep door dry, door not reversible.

The Bottom Line: I cannot recommend this washer due to the vibration issues. This is an easy fix by the manufacturer and it should not have gone to market with this obvious problem.

the LG WM2016C is a masterful work of metal, pretty lights and sounds and what looks to be a promising clothes washing machine is over shadowed by an unacceptable level of vibration in all of the spin cycle settings. A typical front load washer has a minimum of 4 shock absorbers mounted evenly around the tub. this LG model has only 3 which is causing the machine to vibrate so. I had owned a Maytag Neptune front load washer and it was located in exactly the same spot and it never vibrated like this LG front loader does. I will say that the clothes are clean and if you don't want to wait for 5o+ min. to wash a load there is a setting for a quick wash that only takes 23 min. I also tried the electronic stability control setting with this model but it did not alleviate the vibration at all. I did get some anti vibration pads and that has helped to reduce some vibration. The 10 year warranty on the direct drive motor is nice but the competition is offering this as well. If you don't mind your whole house shaking during the spin cycle then this model may be for you, but I would not recommend this model to my friends or stranger.
