jessk616's Full Review: LG WM3431 Front Load All-in-One Washer / Dryer
This washer-dryer combo is fantastic!! I bought it about 2 months ago. It is energy-efficient, so it doesn't make the PSE&G bill go up. Also, it doesn't pump large amounts of water into and out of the machine, so it can be connected to a sink. This is so convenient for us because we live in a very old building with older pipes. People have complained about a musty smell, the clothes not smelling clean, or the wash-dry cycles taking too long. This is due to overloading the washer. There is a "maximum capacity" line for dry clothes located when you open the washer door. If you overload the washer, the clothes will not be laundered properly. An average amount of clothes that can be washed at one time includes, for example, a pair of jeans, 2 t-shirts, 2 undershirts, and 3 pair of socks. If a proper amount of laundry is put into the machine, typically a wash cycle will take about 40 minutes, and a dry cycle will take about 90 minutes. It's great for washing clothes 2-3 times per week, or doing small loads on the weekend. It also dries the clothes automatically after washing if that is what you set it for. So you can go out or go to work and come back to clean, dried clothes. My favorite thing about this machine is that it has LOTS of settings. You can choose the water temperature, whether or not you want it to spin and at what speed, the drying temperature or if you want it to dry at all. I highly recommend this product!!
