I love my new LG enV3 Verizon phone. Actually my whole family loves this phone. My husband and I and two of our children just got the LG env3 2 months ago. The price was right and it has all the feature that we deem necessary in a cell phone.
The ease of text messaging is top on the list of positives in this cell phone. The internal keyboard is large enough with widely spaced keys for my husband's large hands so makes texting much easier. The speed that the text messages are sent and received is also top notch. We know because we sat at the dinner table and made a game of text messaging during the entire meal to each other. The interior screen is 2.6 inches, which makes reading text and viewing videos and photos a pleasure as well.
Specifications of the Cell phone: Large interior Qwerty Keyboard, 2.6" color internal screen, 3.0 Mega Pixel camera, camcorder, Vz navigator capable (with turn by turn directions) GPS, Text, Picture, Video and Voice messaging, Music Player, Bluetooth, MicroSDHC card support (max 16GB), HTML Web Browser, Mobile Email, VCAST Music and Video Chat, Speakerphone, Bluetooth compatible.
Phone: The phone is 4.11 inches in height and 2.13 inches wide and .65 inches deep. It weighs about 3.77 ounces and the battery is an mAh battery. I have noticed that I can keep it unplugged for days and the phone battery is still at about 65 percent full. I usually plug it in every night -but I took it on vacation and was unable to plug it in. According to the phone specs you are able to talk on this phone for 5.45 hours with our recharging. It also has about 450 hours of stand-by power...if not used a lot.
I think this phone looks very sleek and smart. The numbers on the front are large and easy to see and use. The front LCD is about 1x2 inches.
The ringtones on the phone are boring...need to go online and buy some. There are no games on the phone, must purchase those online as well. There is a calendar notification system, which I have used and find handy.
The camera is easy to use and pictures turn out nicely at the 3.0 mega pixel quality. The video capability is great and can store quite a bit of video on the camera.
I get great reception and have never had a dropped or lost call. I can hear clearly on calls. The phone is also comfortable between my ear and my shoulder, which is important to me. The speakerphone capability is loud and you can hear the caller well. They can hear you too. The Bluetooth is just as good. The blue tooth or speakerphone is great for driving.
The phone is very easy to navigate, finding all received, dialed and missed calls. The voice messaging is very easy to use. The text messages are organized into conversations, which makes it fun to go back and read an entire conversation if if wanted. Deleting text and calls is simple.
The one thing I was disappointed about is the available protective phone covers. I bought the two types of covers available for the phone and did not like either one that much. Both types hide the beauty of the phone- which is unacceptable to me. One of the covers increases the phones bulk and I don't like that either. So I left the phone uncovered and in two months the numbers have not rubbed off which is great. The battery cover is small which worries me that it will break off.
Even with those two minor negatives this phone is great. Everyone in my family is in love with this phone. It is a great buy with great features.
