I purchased this Linksys PCI card a few months ago and it worked fine. For the first few months it worked beautifully. I recently removed the card, reformatted my hard drive, re-installed Windows XP Pro, and then re-installed the WMP54GX PCI card. The card hasn't been able to give me anything but a "Low Signal" since the reformat. My wireless laptop receives a "Very Good" signal at the same spot as the WMP543GX antenna so I know it's not the signal strength from the Linksys SRX router. I've talked to two Linksys technicians, reformatted the drive twice, and tried numerous ways to re-install the PCI card. We finally concluded that the card went bad.
