Pros:Inexpensive, easy to use, keeps comforter from shifting inside cover.
The Bottom Line: Hold On! comforter clips keep everything in its place.
Duvet covers. Theyre kind of a pain in the booty. Ive used them in the past and they never work quite the way Id like. Yeah, I know the word work is a little weird when discussing something thats just a giant pillowcase with buttons on one end, but if youve ever used one, you know what I mean. The comforter flops around inside and always ends up shifting down to the bottom and the cover gets all out of control. Its really hard to keep both the cover and the comforter together without things shifting around in an annoying way.

Last week I bought a new duvet cover that was quite expensive so I wanted it to look and work perfectly or at least much better than the previous covers where the comforter shifted and bunched inside. After I added it to my shopping cart on LNT.com, I searched around for something to clip the cover to my comforter and found Hold On! Comforter Clips which were $5.99 for a 4-pack. They seemed to be just the thing to solve my problem so I added them to my cart and purchased them.
What are comforter clips and how are they used?
Comforter clips are a very simple concept. They like the small metal clips that are used on suspenders except that they are covered with a thin layer of foam so that they are somewhat soft and the shape is slightly different. Comforter clips attach the duvet cover to the comforter by firmly clipping the two together at the four corners. To use, simply lay the comforter flat on the bed or floor. Turn the cover inside out and lay it on top of the comforter. Take one clip and pry it open slightly. This opens the small jaws of the clip so that the two fabrics can be clipped together. Once the two pieces of fabric are inserted into the tiny jaws, snap it closed and continue with the remaining three corners. Then turn the cover right side out so that the comforter is inside and thats all!
Does they really work?
You bet it does! Mr. Bugg and I (and usually a cat or two) have been sleeping under our new duvet cover for several days now and everything has remained perfectly in place and looking good. There has been absolutely no shifting, no bunching, and since the clips are at the very corners and covered with foam padding, they are not even noticeable. We are very happy!
