L'Equip Juicer 110.5 is a great buy!

I enjoy fresh juice (fruits and vegetables) and used a ~$30 Hamilton Beach juicer successfully for many years. With these cheaper models, one needs to chop the produce into smaller pieces. Also, to avoid damaging the motor, I would strongly recommend not forcing the produce down into the chamber. Let the blade do the work and even these less expensive models should last 5 years or more.

If you're looking for a quality juicer, perhaps because you would like to juice more than once a week, I would strongly recommend spending a few extra dollars for a more reliable machine--especially if this is your first juicer. I was able to find the L'Equip Juicer 110.5 on the internet for $89 including free shipping. What a great deal! It's extremely solid. The powerful motor sounds smooth. The base doesn't feel like it's going to bounce off your kitchen counter.
Compared with the Juicemaster line available in most retail stores, I thought the L'Equip's overall construction was higher quality. Certainly, the 6 year warranty indicates L'Equip believes in its product. I'm not one to worry about how dry the pulp is or special features for different density fruits and vegetables. Just give me a juicer that works and continues to work for many years and I'll be satisfied.
The main reason I bought the L'Equip was because my old juicer needed to be emptied after the inner chamber became filled with pulp. This is rather cumbersome if you're doing a lot of juice. Also, as I mentioned above, it helps to have a decent sized motor so you don't have to worry about how fast you can juice without breaking the juicer.
If you've read other reviews, you know some people think cleaning a juicer is a big deal. Other's don't. My view is if you want fresh juice, it's a lot faster to make the juice than to go out and buy it. Also, if you're going to the trouble of making fresh juice, you probably believe the fresher the juice, the better it is. For any juicer that expels the pulp, I can't believe there is much difference in clean-up time. Just buy a large dish brush (I bought a ~5 inch brush from Ikea). Clean-up shouldn't take more than 1.5 minutes tops.
Although I didn't list it as a con, I did feel the spout could have been positioned slightly higher.
The juicer comes packed nicely in its box. The instructions are perhaps a little too brief, but otherwise clear. It doesn't come with juice recipes, but I'm sure you can find good recipes on the web.
