I just recently began wearing nail polish daily after several years of wearing it for only special occasions. My 2 year old daughter is a big fan of nail polish too, so on a recent trip to the store, she helped me pick up some new nail polish. Drawn to the color, Perle 105, a light pink, my daughter picked out a bottle of Loreal Jet Set nail polish.
As promised, Loreal Jet Set nail polish dries very quickly. Quick drying nail polish is a necessity when painting my daughter's nails since she can't hold her fingers still very long at all. By the time you have painted both hand's nails, the first nails are already dry. The nail polish goes on easily the first few applications with very little streaking if any at all. After several applications, I have noticed that the brush easily separates, making it slightly more difficult to paint your nails.
The main thing that I did not like about the Loreal Jet Set nail polish, was how quickly it began chipping. My daughter, who is admittedly hard on her nails with all her toddler playfulness, has chips in her finger polish within hours. My nail polish, of course it must withstand the normal household chores of washing and cleaning etc., begins chipping in less than 24 hours. For best results, if time permits, I take the old polish off and repaint my nails within 24 hours.
The selection of colors at the store where we purchased Loreal Jet Set, was good. Most colors available were the darker, trendier colors, but my daughter did manage to find her favorite color, pink.
All in all, Loreal Jet Set nail polish is a polish that I will continue to buy. It dries quickly, and goes on well. The colors available meet my needs. The main disadvantage to this polish was how quickly it begins to chip.
