this was my first ever external hard drive and i was a total novice.

i had to install software for it as i am on windows ME but that was very easy to do.

once installed it was a total dream to use, copies things over very quickly, makes my life a lot easier.

only problem is the USB lead is not quite long enough for me but apart from that i would definitely reccommend it as a first external for anyone.
