LOOK AT THAT FACE! That is all could say about this doll when my search for the perfect Christmas doll ended! I wanted a doll for my two year old that had no electronic parts and did nothing. This little beauty won, hands down! The decision on WHICH doll to choose from this realistic collection was a little more difficult.
As I dug through the stacks of dolls, I would ooooooh and aaawwwww at the wrinkled noses of the grinning babies, the puckered up little faces of the pouting babies and the tiny little teeth of the laughing babies. I finally settled on the baby with the wide open, laughing mouth. (I smiled every time I looked at the doll!)
Christmas morning was magical! My daughter approached the unwrapped box with caution, peering inside and softly saying, "Baby laughing!" The doll looked so realistic, she begged me to "Get her out." My daughter has had a year with her doll and loves her and plays with her as if she were brand new! She pushes her in the doll buggy, feeds her, sleeps with her and periodically deposits the doll onto "Gramma's" lap for babysitting!
These dolls are not only realistic looking, they feel baby soft to the touch, come with an enchanting baby powder scent that lasts and are extremely durable. The dolls come with their own (pretend) bottles of toiletries, reusable, ruffled plastic diaper with velcro closeures and a birth certificate. They are of average doll size, so finding clothing and accessories to fit is a breeze.
This is the perfect doll for the toddler to the older girl and the perfect item to bolster imagination, creativity and role playing....essentials in growing up happy and healthy! Enjoy!
