Don't let the size of the small speakers in this set fool you. When I opened the package I was surprised by how small they were but since I plugged the system into my PC I have never wanted to listen to music on anything else- I know have over 400 songs on my computer (mainly through RealPlayer) and my CD-player is rarely used. The speakers send out crisp, true sound as the base box, usually to rest on the ground underneath a desk, gives deep bass which can almost be felt when the volume is cranked up- and it can get loud! compared to the prices of other speaker systems and their quality this is an excellent deal.
