Pros: it's beer! It's Canadian!!
Cons: it's not always fresh when you buy it in the States
The Bottom Line: Want to try a new beer? Of course you do....

I know what you're saying. "NOT ANOTHER ICE BEER!!" But wait, this isn't another Milwaukee's Best Ice, this is a real ice brewed beer, and it comes from Canada, they know a lot about Ice there.
Let me start by saying this: For those who don't know, Labatt's is to beer in Canada what Budweiser is here. It's the top dog. It's everywhere up there.
I've had a few up there, and it is a quality beer. It has a nice smooth taste that goes away once you've tasted it. there's no after taste, so it doesn't linger like cheap beer.
For you drunkards (just kidding), you'll be happy to know that the alcohol content is a little higher in Labatt's than the average beer here. All Canadian beer is like that, I think because they need it to keep warm up there. No, maybe its because American's drink like there's no tomorrow.
The only down side to this beer, is that it's only been pushed in most of the US for the last year or so, and is normally considered an import. That means the price is up there a little bit, and that deters many away from buying it.
While I won't say go switch to Labatt's, I do recommend that you give it a try the next time you can't decide what to drink "for something different." You might just find that you like it. so pick-up a six pack the next time you get the chance, you'll like it.
