Holy Biff! Jesus' Life as a Frat Guy

Pros: Hilarious look at Jesus' lost years of youth.

Can't wait to see your review on it. My wife has been taking so long to read it that I think I'm going to steal it from her and read it again down at the beach!

You will love Practical Demonkeeping. In fact, it's about time I go re-read that one myself.

I've been meaning to pick up Lamb for quite some time now..thanks for the reminder!

Glad to see your 'limited engagement' continues.

As the others have already said, this sounds like a great read. I have the local library on-line catalog coming up in another window!

you said...
". . .but when it comes to mixing sex and Jesus, some people are a little squeamish."

Hmmm. I have always thought that Jesus would have been somewhat of a ladies man. Albeit perhaps unwillingly and unrequited...

Very...nicely...done !!!

It helps to know the Judeo-Christian mythos to understand some of the references, but isn't really necessary. It is more of a humorous look at the mythology behind the legend, which I found one of its selling points.

I hope that you enjoy the book - feel free to email me to discuss when you are finished!

I've read... (Reply to this comment)

reviews of this book and actually just stumbled upon it on the shelf at Borders. I keep on thinking I need to pick it up. I'd like it I'm certain (I'm, well, not a believer in any way shape or form) and I'm also certain that my mother-in-law and my husband's grandfather would also enjoy it.

Anyway, great review...I can't wait to read the book!

Shelly.
