My husband, the poor thing, is extremely allergic to poison oak and to poison ivy. If he gets within a ten mile radius of either one he breaks out in a horrible rash that causes him to scratch until he bleeds. Okay, so the ten mile radius is an exaggeration, but the itching isn't. Not too long ago, he was kind enough to dig up a tree for me that was located on my parent's property. Unfortunately, he did not see the poison ivy lingering dangerously close to his skin. Within a few hours the rash had developed and he was miserable. On our way home we stopped by the pharmacy and picked up a tube of Lanacane Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Creme Medication.

Lanacane Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Creme Medication comes in a bright yellow tube with screw on cap. The cap is not child proof, so if you have little ones, keep it well out of their reach.
Lanacane Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Creme Medication is formulated for the quick relief of itching and pain associated with skin irritations. It contains an anti-itch medication that provides quick and strong relief. This topical ointment also contains Aloe to soothe and cool the irritated area. Antibacterial medication helps to heal the affected area.
The creme itself is a thick white consistency with a very light fragrance. The fragrance isn't at all overwhelming and doesn't smell like medicine. The creme blends in quickly and easily into the skin without leaving a greasy residue behind.
Lanacane Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Creme Medication is to be applied to the affected area no more than three times a day. It can be used on adults as well as children, ages 2 and up. For a child under 2, consult a physician before applying.
Active Ingredients: Benzocaine 20.0%, Benzethonium Chloride 0.2%.

Once we arrived home, my husband immediately applied Lanacane Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Creme Medication to the rash that had consumed his right arm, hand and lower legs. We still to this day aren't sure how the rash got that out of hand so quickly, but our guess is, he touched an area before he knew he had been affected, and it spread like wild fire. It took about two dime size amounts to cover each area.
Lanacane Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Creme Medication began working quickly. The creme first cooled the areas and then began relieving my husband of the irritating itching. The relief was long lasting, around four hours. My husband continued using this medication for about five days. It not only provided him with relief from his itching, but also worked to heal the areas as well as soothe them.
We now keep a tube of Lanacane Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Creme Medication in the medicine cabinet at all times. I have used it on a handful of occasions for insect bites and stings and it has worked wonderfully at relieving the itch and pain associated with both.
We experienced no side affects or skin irritations with this medication.

I would highly recommend Lanacane Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Creme Medication. It worked wonderfully on my husband's poison ivy, quickly relieving the itching and pain. The relief is long lasting and fast.
