Well, as long as I’m on a roll writing beauty reviews I thought I should write about what I consider to be the best product in my arsenal of anti-aging beauty products…actually I’m more interested in the anti-aging aspect of all the potions I use at this stage in the game of life...as I age I’m going to fight it tooth and nail with all my might! And, with all the help I can get..
Without a doubt, the best help I get and that I use everyday, both morning and night and sometimes in between, is Lancome’s Renergie Eye...In French they call it “Soin Yeux Anti-rides et Fermete” or in English, “Specific Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Eye Crème” however you say it, this special cream really does work!
I’ve used it now for about 8 or 9 years and wouldn’t dream of running out or discontinuing using it..I even brought my little jar with me recently when I stayed in the hospital and in my medicated state applied it every day..God forbid I should get a visitor without having my Renergie on..Everything else about me could look just dreadful but not the skin around my eyes..
I first started to use this eye crème when it came in a Gift with Purchase at one of the Lancôme counters, and, after just a few days, found the delicate skin around my eyes definitely looked better…those little crows feet practically disappeared and the dryness I felt in morning eased up and felt better immediately after applying it…and, when applied on the lid of your eye, you can practically feel the skin lift and tighten.
Renergie eye works well on all skin types.
With the hydrating plant extracts featured in this light but rich crème, (I wish I knew what they are), my skin feels firmer and the fine lines at the corners just seem to disappear..There is absolutely no greasy feel and a very light scent, which are two of the things that I love so much about this Renergie Eye Crème
Over the years I really think it has made a difference on this very delicate skin area around my eyes and I think it would be in much worse condition had I not been using it. I truly feel this product has worked to firm up my skin…so much so, that this is the product I actually buy to receive the Gifts with Purchases when they are offered in the stores..
Using it is so simple…just put a small amount on your finger and dab it lightly all around the eye area, under your brows and on the lid but be careful not to get into your eyes...you really do not need to use much..It absorbs instantly, drenching your skin with those hydrating ingredients. Putting make-up on afterwards is never a problem and eye shadow doesn’t streak if that is a concern, so don’t worry!
One small jar,.5 ounce costs $52.00 and lasts about 4 months, maybe even longer so even though it’s a bit expensive it’s not that bad when you think about it and realize that you only have to buy it about 3-4 times a year… I always wait for that Gift w Purchase to buy mine so I can try other Lancôme’s fine products…I hoard them and my hubby laughs when he accidentally opens my bathroom drawer where I keep them all… Thanks to Lancôme I haven’t had to buy a lipstick, eye shadow or other face crèmes in a long time.
Hint: Bloomingdales is having one of those events now with really nice products including Renergie…sometimes the website offers gifts too....also, just like other Lancome products, they are sold on E-bay but you have to be careful of who you buy from, the jar has changed from the one shown on this page and has a clear glass body and rounded silver lid, not white
Renergie Eye is perfect for firming your eye area, reducing the fine lines and hydrating the delicate skin…It really does work wonders and will help in keeping you looking younger…. at least that’s what people say to me when they find out how old I am, well, they don’t say that crème makes you look younger but you know what I mean.
