What a deal, the best got even better; I was researching treadmills for quite sometime trying to find out what is best for my needs. I debated between Pace-master pro-elite and Landice L7 Pro Trainer. After multiple test-drives on both treadmills it was clear that Landice is a better machine in addition to that Landice announced lifetime warranty on parts, even against wear and tear, one year labor, the catch is you have to have the treadmill dealer-installed with 60 miles. You would lose the warranty if you buy it over the Internet or through e-bay. To negotiate the price with the dealer, you might try to ask for Landice minimum sale price. Landice forces the dealers not to sell below a certain price for their treadmills.
I need cardiovascular activities, and I am also overweight, my research led me to Pace-master and I started my research comparing Pace-master to other brand and found that in every review I read that Landice is a much better treadmill. Then I started to focus on Landice. Starting with the superior quality Boldar 3 HP continuous duty drive motor. Aluminum construction and still weights almost 300 pounds compare that to 170 pounds in Pace-master. It is not recommended to be heavier than the treadmill you are running on. Both aircraft and Landice treadmills are assembled with locking hardware. Locking hardware provides a reliably repeatable system of securing the frame. The problem with a welded treadmill, like Pace-master, is that without x-ray equipment it is impossible to tell if a weld is solid. Poor welds may look solid but can lead to squeaking and eventually structural failure. Landice crowned rollers weigh 14 pounds. The best flywheel in the treadmill industry, the flywheel has 3/4 of its 14 pounds in its outside edge. Other manufacturers use a less expensive method of cutting the flywheel out of tube of solid steel. Landice cast flywheel acts with the inertia of a 42-pound solid flywheel but with the benefit of placing only 14 pounds of pressure on the motor shaft and bearings of the motor. Landice elevation motor delivers 1000 pounds of thrust. Landice’s treadmill elevation motor delivers 1000 pounds of thrust across the entire range of the treadmill’s 15 % elevation. The 1000-pound rating allows up to a 500-pound user to run on the treadmill at top speed and still elevate smoothly during all phases of operation. The higher the thrust rating, the longer it will last, no matter what the load.
